ZERO IS THE HERO

God created the heaven and the earth
In the beginning
It was formless, empty and silent
Emptiness and silent
Implied a blurred concept of zero
Yet nobody knew what zero is
And was hovering invisibly
In the course of time
Reasoning began to emerge
Although mathematics had sprouted out
Greek Pythagoras laid the base of geometry
And Roman numeral
Laid the foundation of mathematics
Yet the presence of something was missing
Though logic was emphasized
Yet the essence of mathematics remained vague
For many ages
A thin veil was still lingering and preventing
A scholar named Arayabhatta
Happened to born in a humble family
In the Far East land called Hindustan
He tore the curtain of ignorance
From top to bottom
A miracle! Unsolved for ages
Happened to sum up within no time
A marvellous idea, how he rendered
He discovered the funniest thing
He discovered the simplest thing
He solved the toughest thing
He gave the world Zero
The then scholars laughed
 Upon their own wits
Assuming how easy it was
A new era dawned
The zero uncovered
The mysterious of the world
Paving the way
For further discovery
Although zero meant nothing
Yet it plays a pivot role
Hence zero is the hero

N A T U R E

Nature is the combination of both

Beauty and Ugliness

Nature is in every creature

Mighty or tiny

Nature is the mixture of colours

Rainbow and white

Nature is in the form of adjective
Love and hatred

Nature is Almighty God

Creator and destroyer

Nature is at all times right

Throughout day and night

Nature is incredibly sensible

She laughs and cries

Nature is sensitively aggressive

If you hurt and damage it

Who Are You ?

You are omnipotent
You are a tireless ambassador
Neither fast nor slow
Wait for none
You are omnipresent
Neither solid nor liquid or gas
But you are there
Nothing happened to come
Without you
Even a baby didn’t born
before nine
Neither a rooster crow
Before the time
You are wealth
You are wisdom
Whoever dignified you
Became rich and famous
You are alpha
You are omega
Yet, I ask you
Who are you?
Give everyone the wisdom
To understand your values

CAROL OF GLORY

Having guided by a shining star
And trailing the same
Assembled they from near and far
The rendezvous of three magi
Bethlehem, the centre of the globe
Found they a humble cow shed
Where a savior was born
Upon where the star halted
To fulfill the prophecy
Holy infant tender and meek
Was laying in the stiff manger
 Overjoyed they seeing the baby
Bowing down to Him
Offered they gold, incense and myrrh
Angels cradling the child affectionately
Sang the carol of glory
Virgin Mother Mary was in total bliss
The child was illuminating the divine light
To cast out the darkness of the world
To redeem the sinner from the bondage
And to yield exceeding peace to all

GLOOMY EVENING

Lone was I descending
Through a narrow bumpy steep mountainous suburb lane
On the fringe of the western horizon
Soon the sun was going to bid farewell
Chirping birds seemed hurried to their bough
And I was being more inquisitive
Driven by my own humanity
To take this abandoned path
To pay my spared homage
To my friend’s slumbered wife
Know I not where she is sleeping
But I know nearby old paternal dwelling
Down-down beneath the jagged rocks and mud
In deep, in eternal sleep, must be
I think, I pitied
And I know he will not see me stopping here
To search for, in this gloomy evening
As busy he’s downhill in his cozy fresh home
Deprived she is now
Of physical ailments and mental despair
And is reclining in undying peace
I think, I know,
Concealed she is in white rectangular dome above
Around which red, pink, yellow and white blooms
Roses along with the weeds
Bothers her not anything
Neither torrent rain nor the scorching sun,
A light darkening veil prevents me to go any further
Curious and inquisitive though I to bear
In this darkest evening of the year
Must be I back home to be a rationalist
To accomplish my life’s assigned duties.

BURNING TORCH OF THE SOCIETY
Your are the burning torch of the society
You are the brightest morning star of humanity
Let it not turn off till you get yourself burnt out
butterflies_flowers_md_whtbutterflies_flowers_md_whtFor you have to pave the way
Because you have to lead your successors
To a brightest way
Although you have to climb a steep mountain
And go through the deepest valleys
Your firm determination
And self reliance will lead you to your destiny
You have to play a pivotal role in the society
But I know you have to face many hurdles
Economic constraint and social dilemmas
Didn’t great people walk on the pebbles?
Just think of Dr. Sarbapalli Radha Krishnan
Who digested all social dogmas
Yet, never gave up his high aspirations
At last, all walks of people fell in his admiration
Hence you are the delicate rays of the mighty sun
You have to consume all the agonies of the society
And you have to lead the masses to a blissful journey

Winter War
Decked in callous gloomy dress
Throwing chilled smile as of her face
Letting everyone know of her presence
Covers she all with an arctic blanket
Receives they with a cozy smile
A class of distinct people
Equipped with warm armour
Diluted blood with toxic liquor
Blends her existence
In their wintry cocktail party
Ooops ! A wretched season this is
For the masses living line below poverty
Begun a brutal war once again
Between poor and winter
Pulling up the shabby blanket
Curls within him a shivering bagger
Upon the stiff nude concrete
Misty winter morn emerge as usual
Blowing the trumpet of its victory
A class of distinct people
Equipped with warm armour
Bestow cash for the funeral
As if performed his social duty
